This is a very useful book. After researching the New York City DOE G+T test for a long time, we were searching for just the right mix of OLSAT and NNAT prep – in a colorful, fun package. Together with the “verbal reasoning” and the “analogies”, this is it. Our 3 1/2 year old considers it good entertainment, and that is saying something in a world of toddler apps. She he is definitely getting more adept at this type of question. If you consider entering the daunting world of NYC kindergarten test prep, get these.

My four year old has loved this work book. It’s been so fun to see her grasping the concepts of patterns and sequences. I like that the questions vary in difficulty so that she has some successes and others that challenge her.

I’ve used this book with my three year old and he has done well. The concepts build and are laid out in a way that he could easily understand. It’s challenging, too, which is something I am happy about as he is learning and mastering along the way. Great book!

My preschooler has really enjoyed this book! She is really into patterns right now, so this book has given her the chance to explore and continue to develop her understanding of these concepts, which has been so fun to watch!

My daughter enters Kindergarten this next fall, and this is the best resource to help keep her brain moving during the summer! Her little 3 1/2 year old brother loves getting to work alongside her to get ready for his first Pre-K class!

I was able to try this book via a campaign with City Moms Blog. This particular version of the series was a little advanced for my three and a half year old (we apparently do not have a grasp on patterns yet) but I was really impressed with the variety of exercises! We look forward to trying this book again in a year or so. In the meantime we will continue to work in the Verbal Reasoning book which was perfect for my little ones current abilities.

The bright colors and fun shapes drew in my little guy, and the engaging content kept him involved. It’s been so much fun watching him learn and explore new-to-him concepts and ideas. Love this book!

This is a great book for teaching early math skills for your pre-schooler. Our son loves the pictures in the book and while some of the sequences are a little difficult for him, they challenge him in a way that is really supporting his growth! I love how there is so much versatility in the different projects that you can do. We are really looking forward to spending time with our 4 year old this summer filling out the book and keeping his education going during the non-school months. I highly recommend this book!

My son loves these activity books! I get really excited about praising him when he learns anything & I’m so blown away that he gets (and remembers!) a lot of this at such a young age.
The workbooks are colorful & engaging to keep him interested. Ssshhh, don’t tell him he’s learning! He has always been interested in colors & recently, he’s been really getting into shapes. Some of the exercises are a bit beyond him, so I need to walk him though some of it, but I love exposing him learning activities because after a few times, he puts it together! These books are great!

We just took these books in the car on a 16-hour summer road trip and my son loves them! The activities use subjects he is excited about and he loves answering the questions. Some are a bit hard for a preschooler but the more we do them, the more he’s catching on.

My daughter absolutely loved these books! It was fun to watch her get excited about learning and really grasping the concepts. It’s perfect to use in the summer while she’s out of school to keep in practice, but she doesn’t feel like she’s doing “work” just a fun activity!
